Too Much Time With Machines: A Brief Lament

It takes a computer to do all of this…

I have been working steadily to get a freelance project done, create this site and enter content, and do some odds and ends on my wife’s website. Needless to say, I have been spending an enormous amount of time on the computer these days. The freelance project I am working on is a CD package design for Nashville band, Still Water Sonnet, and although I would like most of the work done by hand, it has mostly all been in Illustrator. As I have been going through my computers archives I found the following bit of typography that I did years ago. I still like it, and it makes for a segue into some “news.” In February I will be working on some experimental typography projects with objects and photography being my medium.
