Last year, I was in a wedding and this pipe was given to me as a “thank you.”

Joel Wakeman of Integration Workshop hand-carved a handful of these pipes from briar root for each of his groomsmen. Each pipe had it’s own personality in the way it was carved. One of the things I have always wanted was a smoking pipe that stood upright on its own, and my pipe does just that. It even ergonomically forms to my right hand when I hold it. Below are a few pictures of it, but be sure to visit his new site to see more of his handmade goods. My favorite being his Greenland kayak!
