Coney Island Polaroids

I’m feeling a bit nostalgic for the big city tonight.

I figure there’s no better time to post some old photos I took in Coney Island. When Julia and I lived in Providence, we would go to NYC frequently to visit friends and go to museums. I was in NYC in November to attend a Core77 discussion panel. you can read about it on my Newfangled blog. Although, I couldn’t imagine living in New York, I do wish I could visit more often.

Back to Polaroid:

Polaroid itself is nostalgic, especially with the news recently that they have discontinued production of instant film. The first thing that I thought when I heard the news was, “I better draw more.” It’s the only good instant thing we have anymore. Also, while we are on the topic of Polaroid, check out Julia’s recent post on subject.
