My first trip to D.C.!

So Julia and I have been trying to get to D.C. for our anniversary for 5 years now, and for some reason or other, something always comes up. This year we had given up until we got some last-minute news on Thursday that we could go on Friday. With less than 24 hours notice, we planned a tour of our nations’ capital. Here are some photos from the weekend. (click on images for a slideshow)

The hot dog trucks were busy, and I was surprised that they all looked the same:

Keith’s Doggy Bar is an ankle-high saloon in Georgetown that you’d miss if you blinked. I loved this! Too bad I couldn’t get a picture of a dog up in there…

My Fortune…

I’d like to go back soon. If you have some pictures of D.C. I should see or if you know of a place I should go next time I’m there, comment below.

You should use those Hot Dog images for Dawgs Dogs.
