How to Cook Breakfast Over a Campfire

I have a secret dream of hosting a cooking show.

Julia and I enjoyed our three-day Memorial Day weekend camping in Linville Gorge. We could not have had better weather while we were there, and we took advantage of every minute of it.

One of the best things about camping is waking up in wilderness, and one of the best things about waking up is eating breakfast. This means there is great opportunity to make breakfast, while camping, an awesome event. Below is of a video celebrating breakfast over a campfire. I prefer to cook pancakes and eggs, and since ash usually colors the pancakes, I call them “ashcakes.” Cooking over a fire makes everything better!  Some one please hire me so I can do this for a livin.
