Things I have found lately:
I’ve been in North Carolina just under 2 years, and it has become quite clear to me that this state loves burritos! One of my favorite places to pick up a delicious burrito is called Carrburitos. Great name, too! Inside the restaurant is the “Art-O-Mat.” I’ve been thinking of posting it here for a while now, but hadn’t gotten to it. Now that I am posting it I am still not too sure what it is. I am guessing you can buy one of the featured pieces of art? I’ll have to buy some art next time I am there!
Almost every Saturday my wife and I go to a vintage store on Franklin St. called Time After Time. Yesterday I found a great cowboy shirt that I couldn’t fit into. I grew up in Wyoming, and the horse-and-rider icon is close to my heart. Here it is on the tag:
I picked up some $1 records at the Skylight Exchange. I found the covers to be inspiring. When I went out to the deck to snap a picture of them I found an amazing horned beetle, and decided to include him in the pictures.
Is it a coincidence that I found the horned beetle when I was photographing the record covers? I think not. Here is the logo I designed about 3 years ago for Afterlife Science, an Atlanta-based production company:
Finally, here is the other album I picked up. Notice my little beetle friend still doesn’t know he can trust me.
