Hoping that ‘better late than never’ applies to this month’s desktop wallpaper.
Thank you all for your patience, and your inquiries about the August wallpaper. It’s encouraging to see that folks anticipate updating their desktop with my collages.
You’ll notice that this month I’ve gone somewhat minimal, and I haven’t included any animals, insects, birds or fish. I’ve also decided to display the month’s name as the digits it represents. I love the forms of the ’0′ and ’8′, and how they play against one another. Part of the fun of these is making each one of them so different.

There is some concern that the ’08′ will confuse folks into thinking it’s 2008. I welcome any feedack on this issue. It’d be great to hear if it tricks you or if you like it.
