We had a fantastic little collage party at our apartment yesterday. Here’s one of the three I finished.
I can’t think of a recent collage that didn’t start with paper and a knife. All of my work at least begins with a paper collage, even my wallpapers.
For instance, below is a photo taken by my phone of what the March wallpaper looked like before I scanned it and cleaned it up in Photoshop.

I made this collage for a co-worker for Valentine’s Day.
My wife organized a Valentine’s gift exchange for the finished art department at McKinney this year. (Yes, we work at the same place, in the same department.) I was quite pleased with this simple piece of an anteater(?) vacuuming up some floating letters.
