Recent Collages From My Molskine Sketchbook

Some may be a work-in-progress.
I don’t consider any of these to be finished, but I thought it’d be nice to post them. You can click on any of the images to enlarge them.

Using Letraset in Collage

I love the forms the layered letters make.
One of my favorite resources in creating collages is a sheet of rub-on letters. In Providence I had a secret spot where I could go to get as much Letraset as I could afford. At first, it was in a small room towards the back of a downtown […]

April Desktop Calendar

As you may know, I hold down a few different blogs online.
One of them is at Newfangled where I work as a designer and developer, and consult clients on their web projects. I thought it would be fun to change things up a bit, and create a desktop calendar celebrating the bright colors around me here […]

Three Minimal Collages

I have hopes of printing these real big some day.
The original size of each of these is about 5x7 inches. They were created in a Molskine sketchbook, but I would like to print them to be about 6 feet tall and displayed next to each other. Each one is for sale at the elphabat store, which […]

How Much is Eternity?

Today, $50
I am selling prints of my Eternity collage over at the elphabat store.

Postcard Kits: A Mail Art Gift

Collage, stamp, and mail!
Mail art is contagious! That is why I decided to make postcard kits that could be given as gifts. Each kit comes with a reused cardboard backing and collaging materials. The instructions encourage using all of the included materials! I have put off selling these for a while, but with enough encouragement […]

Mail Art Correspondence with Chris Butler

So this has been going on for years…
Even when we Chris and I lived less than a mile from each other! We’ve sent each other all kinds of things in mail without wrapping them up, including a lego, a self-inking stamp, books, CD’s, and more. Just stick a enough postage on it, and it’ll get there. […]
