For Ginny, a Collage Using Letraset

I made this collage for a co-worker for Valentine’s Day. My wife organized a Valentine’s gift exchange for the finished art department at McKinney this year. (Yes, we work at the same place, in the same department.) I was quite pleased with this simple piece of an anteater(?) vacuuming up some floating letters.

Trust

Here’s a spread from an old sketchbook that I don’t think I’ve ever shared before. It’s one of the few times white Letraset letters worked in my favor. I like how the two pages interact with each other, and I’m reminded of how well a little acrylic paint helps tie different sections together.
